Well....up until fairly recently in my life, I was bed bound for the best part of a decade, riddled with TWO “incurable” diseases. I was unable to work, I had to move back home with my mother, who became my full-time carer, I had no money, no independence, no physical freedom and, at times, what felt like no HOPE. 

I lived in bed, and was in relentless agony 24/7. 

I was never on my feet for more than 3 months during this 10-year period.

I lost a lot of friends, and all my relationships were incredibly toxic, unhealthy, abusive and unsupportive. It had been a pattern for as long as I could remember, but one I just couldn’t seem to break.

I felt lost, frustrated and desperate, watching everyone around me carry on with their lives while mine just seemed to STOP.

I was riding an arduous roller-coaster of despair, pain and disappointment, and had absolutely no idea how to get off.
